Dr. Carole Hertz is a counseling psychologist who has been in private practice in Warrenton, Virginia, since 1983. Previous work experience was in a medical practice in Rappahannock County, VA. She worked at Springwood Psychiatric Hospital Hospital in Loundoun County, Virginia, and as Senior Psychologist for the Fauquier County School System.

Dr. Hertz received both her Masters and Doctoral degrees from The American University in Washington, DC. She is one of the founding partners of the Fauquier Counseling Center. She treats adolescents, couples, adults and families. In adjustment disorders, she also works with males and their varied issues. Dr. Hertz continues to be a consultant to local family law attorneys and mediation specialists, and coaches individuals with specific life goals, or who are interested in personal and professional growth.
